TamTamy Philosophy
As the Web, TamTamy is in continuous improvement. Its Perpetual Beta concept has its roots in Web 2.0 phenomenon and TamTamy follows this approach to enable a perpetual evolution of the platform with micro-releases of new functions and modules.
History
TamTamy results from the great spirit of innovation tipical of Reply, a company keen to invest in the new communication channels provided by Web 2.0. After a first analysis of the new trends, Reply decided to experience solutions targeted to boosting knowledge sharing and people collaboration inside the company. On August 2007, TamTamy was launched and, in one year, it strengthened the corporate identity of all the Reply Group people; moreover, it facilitated the creation of spontaneous teamwork, based on shared skills.
In a short time, the new platform attracted the interests of several Reply Customers who asked for a customized version, in order to integrate it with their company tools. TamTamy is now being used by Customers both to manage internal relations between colleagues and to foster collaboration with external stakeholders (e.g. suppliers).
At the Web2.0 Expo 2008 of San Francisco, TamTamy was launched in the Software-as-a-Service version in Alpha phase.
